Christine J. Lomas, Esquire

Attorney and Founder

Christine grew up in Orlando and holds a bachelor’s degree in art and master’s degree in public administration from the University of Central Florida. She graduated Magna cum Laude from the Florida A&M University College of Law in downtown Orlando in 2010. During her studies, Christine advocated for children who were dependents of the state through the Guardian ad Litem clinic, interned for the Honorable Mary S. Scriven of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, and participated in advocacy competitions and the Women’s Law Caucus.

Before law school, Christine enjoyed a 20-year career in the print publishing, advertising & marketing fields. Some may remember her as the former editor of the Central Florida Lifestyle magazine publications. She also taught magazine publishing in the journalism department of her alma mater, UCF, prior to becoming an attorney in 2011.

In early adulthood, Christine was a young, struggling single mother, but for the last 28 years she has been happily married. She channels her life experience into the practice of family law and probate and guardianship litigation daily by empathizing and listening to what her clients are going through and working diligently to achieve fair and equitable resolutions. She is passionate about the practice of law and strives to achieve the best results for her clients.

After raising their children in Seminole County, Christine and her husband are now empty nesters living in East Orlando, where her husband teaches middle school. They enjoy traveling, art and architecture, movies, and binge watching their favorite streaming programs.

Susan K. Lomas

Legal Assistant/Office Manager

Susan is married to Christine’s younger brother (hence the same last name), and she has been the hub of LomasLaw, P.A. since 2018. Prior to her position here, Susan worked for 15 years with the Catholic Diocese of Orlando, and she held office management positions prior to that. Her outgoing personality and diligence to her work make her an integral part of the LomasLaw team.

Susan obtained a degree in Accounting Technology from Valencia State College in 2017, and her education has been a great asset in the financial and discovery aspects of our firm. In addition to her part-time work at LomasLaw, Susan assists two other lawyer friends of the firm, she sits on Edgewood’s City Council, and she judges local, region and international gymnastics meets as a USA Gymnastics Judge.

Susan and her husband have been married for almost 30 years, and after raising their daughter, they too are empty nesters. They enjoy sports, especially golf, good food, and good wine.
